I love the work of the artist Julie Arkell - it is such an inspiration. The individual personalities of the whimsical little characters are quite unique, and the warm and comforting thoughts and phrases she embellishes each piece with are really thought provoking. I wish and hope that I will be able to attend one of her workshops one day.................Until then, I will continue to make and sculpt my own small "people" with my little girl Daisy - she creates many a flight of fancy from gooey papier mache and gives them as little gifts to me - which I shall treasure....always.
